What is Such & Such?
A blooming oasis for genre-boundary-busting musical adventures, with focus on all that is pure and extraordinary in dance music. This crackpot A-Team of fine eclectic DJs and bon vivants will be conspiring to add some reckless abandon to every Wednesday
The directive for this new weekly Wednesday party is simple: a rotating team of like-minded DJs explore all that has been infectious about dance music of the past 35 years, delving into everything from classic and updated disco, REAL electro, modern and retro house and anything that gets us moving.
Its credo is Eclecticism that makes sense, loose but intelligent, taking root in a space that's chic but unpretentious, close to the beating heart of Hollywood but insulated from its nightlife cliches and obnoxiousness.
Many of the respected Los Angeles dance clans are uniting to create an extended family feel: Sean Patrick, Droog, Plastic Love, Superfreq, Missy Kim, Moderna, Double Vision, Electric Friends and others.
This weekly gathering of 150 or so people will be have NO COVER CHARGE, but is RSVP list-only.
